For me, discipline has always been something I struggle with. I try to stay focused and consistent, but sometimes it feels really hard. I don’t always see myself as a disciplined person. But when I look at the life of Jesus Christ, I see the perfect example of what it means to live with purpose, love, and self-control. He gives me strength to keep trying — even when I feel like I fall short — and to not give up on my spiritual goals.
That’s why I’ve decided now to stay faithful to my covenants by putting Jesus Christ at the center of my life, especially throughout my career and beyond. I want to live in a way that reflects the promises I’ve made to Him — through the way I treat others, how I work, and the decisions I make. Even if I’m not perfect, I know He sees my effort and helps me grow through His mercy.
I’ve noticed that when I’m close to Jesus Christ, I feel more at peace, more protected, and genuinely happier. That feeling is something I never want to lose, so I choose to build a life where I invite His Spirit every day — through prayer, scripture study, and remembering who I am as a daughter of God.
I’m also deeply grateful for my life and for the family God has given me. I feel so blessed to have grown up in a home with gospel values. My parents have taught me to love the Savior, to serve others, and to stay strong in my faith. I know that families are eternal, and that is one of the greatest motivations I have — to live worthy of being with them forever. That eternal perspective gives me hope and helps me remember what really matters when life gets overwhelming.
Being a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has completely changed my life. The gospel gives me direction, healing, and a deep sense of purpose. I love being part of this church and having opportunities to help others and become more like the Savior. I know that staying close to Him — in my personal life, in my education, and in my future career — will help me stay faithful to my covenants no matter what challenges come my way.
